CHINCHONA

Cinchona trees cultivated by the company cover an area of 3,888 hectares. Grown in 13 plantations, producing 1,265 tons of dry barks. These barks are then processed into SQ-2 or salt qunine sulphate, quinidine bisulphate and other derivatives. Such products are now made by PT SINKONA INDONESIA LESTARI, a fosfer company of PT PERKEBUNAN NUSANTARA VIII and marketed to Europe, Canada and the United States.
